AIToolchainBot
When we read a public web page, we do it as this bot. Here is what it reads, how often, and how to reach us.
Effective 2 November 2026. Last updated 2 November 2026.
What it reads
It reads public pages where companies list their own plans and prices, and the pages next to them that say what each plan includes. These are pages anyone can open without an account.
It does not sign in, fill in forms, or run anything on your site. We use what it reads to keep track of what AI coding plans cost and what they include.
How often
Usually once a day. When a page looks changed or broken we may read it again, and a few times a year we read it twice in one visit to check our own reading.
How it follows robots.txt
Before it reads a page, it reads that site’s robots.txt. It follows the rules written for AIToolchainBot. If there are none, it follows the rules written for all bots. When it is sent to a different address, it checks robots.txt there too.
If it cannot read robots.txt because the site is down, slow or refuses it, it reads nothing from that site. A site with no robots.txt file at all is treated as having no rules.
To keep it away from your whole site, add these two lines to your robots.txt:
User-agent: AIToolchainBotDisallow: /
How to spot it
Every request carries this name, with a link to our bot page at aitoolchain.io/bot:
AIToolchainBot/1.0 (+https://aitoolchain.io/bot)
It reads over https only, and only from public addresses. It does not use any other name.
If a page says no
If your site answers with “forbidden”, a block page or a challenge, the bot takes that as a no. It does not try again under another name or look for a way around it.
How to complain
Email info@cybertoolchain.io. Tell us which site or page you mean and what you would like changed. A person reads it.
Questions about anything on this page go to info@cybertoolchain.io and reach a person, not a queue.
