Summary
Sublime Security is a commercial, AI-powered email security platform run as SaaSSaaSSoftware delivered over the internet and run on the provider's infrastructure, so the buyer pays a subscription instead of installing or operating anything locally., protecting Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace environments (with IMAP and API ingestion also supported) for security teams who need to block phishing, BEC, and malware without staffing a full detection-engineering effort. It's built on a programmable detections engine that evaluates messages with its own query language (MQLMQLA query language created by Microsoft for hunting across telemetry in Microsoft 365 Defender, letting cyber tools express complex behavioral detections in a structured, readable syntax.) and can quarantine mail, fire webhooks, or insert warning banners, while its AI agents, ADÉ and ASA, write and backtest new detections and triage user-reported messages automatically. That combination of packaged protection with an underlying engine teams can extend themselves sets it apart from simpler filtering add-ons, and puts it closer to a platform for SOCSOCA security operations center, the team or function that monitors threats, investigates alerts and coordinates incident response. Its work can be internal, outsourced or shared. analysts and detection engineers than a plug-and-play filter. Recent work adds sandbox detonation via CrowdStrike Falcon and deeper Falcon SIEMSIEMSecurity information and event management, collecting logs from many systems and correlating events to find suspicious activity. Analysts use it to investigate alerts and incidents./SOARSOARSecurity orchestration, automation and response, coordinating incident workflows across tools. Sublime Security is an email security platform that detects and blocks phishing, malware, and other email-based threats using customizable, logic-based detection rules.
How Sublime Security helps
Is a suspicious message actually malicious, or safe to ignore?
detonates the message in an isolated sandbox on demand and returns a verdict of malicious, suspicious, or benign, with a live-updating analysis view and a full behavioral report of indicators, network activity, and dropped files one click away
Which reported emails are real misses that need a new detection, and which are noise?
triages every user-reported and flagged message automatically, gives reporters a plain-language explanation of the verdict, and hands confirmed misses to the detection-writing agent to build coverage from
Why did this message get quarantined, blocked, or flagged?
every detection is written in a readable query language, so the specific rule and logic that matched a message can be inspected rather than taken on faith
How much of my flagged mail is actually an attack versus marketing and newsletters clogging the queue?
separates high-volume non-malicious mail into its own view using a machine-learning bulk-mail score, and learns per-user, per-sender preferences from folder moves to route similar mail automatically going forward
Has anyone outside my team touched my mail environment, and when?
logs every vendor support session with the account, role, and duration, shows a live banner during any active session, and keeps an exportable audit trail admins can review at any time
Are my child organizations licensed and provisioned the way they should be?
lists every child organization with its license and usage data and lets an admin apply or change licensing individually or in bulk across up to 200 organizations at once

Five scores for Sublime Security, each built from the releases, notes and API history this site tracks — and, on Researcher and Business, where it stands among every measured tool in its category and how that has moved.

Blank means never measured; nothing here is a filled-in zero.
Peer standings are included with Researcher and Business. See how this tool ranks against its competitors, using data we don't publish anywhere else.
See plans →Each score is 0–100 on a published rubric, derived from data this site already shows. A dimension we cannot measure says so — it is never scored 0 and never enters a rank.
How this is scored
- Shipping velocity — releases a month over the last 12 months, on a log scale where 16 a month scores 100. Needs 3 releases in the window.
- Documentation quality — the release-notes rubric published on the analytics page, unchanged.
- Breaking-change discipline — the share of releases carrying a breaking change (none scores 100, half or more scores 0). Only projects that label breaking changes are measured: a clean record cannot be told from an unlabelled one.
- Maintenance risk — quiet time measured against the tool's own release cadence (quiet longer than 90 days and three typical gaps scores 0), plus the number of active maintainers and whether contributors are growing, where known. Higher is lower risk.
- Innovation & surface — new capabilities in the feature ledger this year, API and MCP operations added, and the share of commits that are features: the mean of whichever we hold.
- Community health (open-source tools only) — each is a direction, not a size: contributors this year against last, the bus factor now against a year ago, and issues closed per issue opened, where steady scores 50, doubled 100 and halved 0; plus the median time to a maintainer's first reply (an hour scores about 100, a month or more 0). A commercial card has no repository and carries none of the four.
- Documented delivery (commercial tools) — when a vendor's documented new capabilities have slowed against its own baseline, that counts against the overall standing as heavily as two low dimensions. Steady delivery, or too little history to judge, leaves the standing alone; it is never a sixth score.
- Open-source tools are scored on repository signals; commercial tools on their published changelog. Ranks compare tools within one category and one profile and need at least five measured peers; the overall standing needs three ranked dimensions. Best-in-breed or consolidator is a shape, not a quality, and is never scored.
Release-note detail over time
See how much detail Sublime Security puts in its release notes, quarter by quarter, and compare it with tracked tools in the same category. This history uses up to ten retained, reviewed notes per tool; sparse or blank older quarters may reflect that limit.

new Prompt Injection Detection — ML model and Core feed rules
With beta.prompt_injection_detection(), hidden text, obfuscated instructions
A machine learning model that detects potential prompt injection in email. Detection rules call the model in MQL with beta.prompt_injection_detection() . Core feed detections that cover known evasion techniques, such as hidden text and obfuscated instructions.

updated Attack Score Flash: Advanced Graymail Detection (renamed from Fuzzy Attack Score: Advanced Graymail Detection)
we're also renaming the graymail rule from "Fuzzy Attack Score: Advanced Graymail Detection" to "Attack Score Flash: Advanced Graymail Detection." The detection logic stays the same.

updated Shared and Delegated Calendar Protection
With Delete Calendar Events, Quarantine, Trash, Move to Spam
Sublime can now detect and remove malicious events from shared and delegated calendars, extending the protection already available for users' primary calendars.
Nothing first seen in this window. That doesn't mean Sublime Security shipped nothing, only that we found no record of it.
How we count
Read from 4 of 34 release notes and docs updates we hold for Sublime Security. "First seen" is the earliest note that names something; "last" is the latest. Our history may start partway through Sublime Security's life, so an old integration can show a recent first-seen date.
Each change counts once: "added 40 checks" is one line, so the numbers measure how often coverage moves, not how big the catalogue is or how well it detects.
